We long ago realized that the beautiful nature that surround Pomquet Beach Cottages would make the perfect backdrop for a space able to accommodate weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties (and more). After much planning we completed construction of Harbourview Event Centre in 2022 and are pleased to make this wonderful space available for bookings.
With ample parking available and the washrooms conveniently located in the adjacent building, we have already hosted large events catered by many local and area favorites. We can provide some assistance with a list of caters, DJs, and wedding planners that have hosted here in the past.
Customers have also brought along their own food for family gatherings in true Maritime tradition.

We’re confident that once you arrive at Pomquet Beach Cottages you’ll want to stay even longer. Located adjacent to Pomquet Beach Provincial Park, you’ll enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets, the breeze off the water, the gentle rustling of the trees, and breathe in the fresh air that is touched with a hint of the waters from the Northumberland Strait.
Simply take Exit 35 from the Trans-Canada Highway on to Taylors Road and follow the signs to Pomquet Beach. In less than ten minutes you’ll be here!

Please note that when renting the Harbourview Event Centre facility guests assume full liability for their actions and accept any unforeseeable risks and assume all responsibility for themselves and their guests during their time at Harbourview Event Centre. Although we have endeavored to make the venue as safe as possible, we recognize that its location close to the water and adjacent woodland may present the opportunity for accidents to happen during a festive or celebratory event. We ask that all guests behave responsibly and maintain a healthy respect for the safety and comfort of their fellow attendees and anyone else who may be on the grounds during their stay.
