Pomquet Beach
Pomquet Beach Provincial Park is located north east of Antigonish off Highway 104 through the village of Pomquet. The water conditions are relatively calm and the temperature can reach 20 degrees C. The beach populations come from the local area and the town of Antigonish. The beach is approximately 2.5 kilometres long and is backed by an extensive dune system. Pomquet is a safe beach with a gentle slope and occasional sand bars. The 200 metre supervised area is located directly off the two boardwalks. The area is marked by red and yellow flags on either side of the beach.

Fairmont Ridge/Cape George Hiking Trails
These hiking trails appeal to both the novice and experienced hiker. With a total length of over 10 kilometers, this scenic trail has six different loops, each offering a unique hiking experience. You'll get a fine view of Antigonish Harbour, as well as the coast of St. George's Bay.

Enjoy a relaxing stroll along this scenic walking trail. View Interpretive panels which describe the local flora and fauna, raised platforms are great for birding and benches to sit back and relax.
